John Hewitt has lived in Hangleton all his life, and attended schools in the ward. He works locally for the NHS and will work to ensure our services remain accessible to the public.

Birgit is active in the local community and is the chair of a local charity. She has been a performer and a music teacher for thirty years and has helped many young people to develop confidence and life skills. She believes in the necessity of providing high quality, properly funded educational and training opportunities for all.

Kevin first came to live in Hangleton & Knoll in the 1980s and has seen how the area has changed over the years. Formerly a civil servant, he now chairs a not-for-profit childcare organisation providing after-school and holiday clubs. With such a diverse community, he sees the importance of good services for all. He has been an active campaigner, believing in people before profit.
