Our Brighton and Hove Labour councillor and candidate for Wish ward, Hove.
Councillor Anne Pissaridou
“Since I was elected three years ago, I have established, promoted and supported vibrant community groups in our parks and estates. I have worked tirelessly to ensure that any proposed developments add value to our community.
Budgets are tight for us all right now but we will work responsibility to maintain the public services we depend on, particularly for the elderly and vulnerable. I will strive to ensure that decent schools, clean streets, community —sensitive development, safe play areas and a positive environment remain our top priorities.”
“I am pleased and proud to have been selected as a Labour candidate for Wish ward. With its mixed housing, green spaces, small businesses, schools, transport links and strong communities Wish reflects the variety and energy of Brighton and Hove as a whole .
My ambitions are clear: to clean up the mess left by the Greens, particularly their mismanagement of the refuse collection system; to improve schools and create sufficient places to meet demand; to encourage new businesses and create jobs with living wages, so that people don’t have to claim social security benefits.”
