Stop the Tories stealing votes
November 08, 2015 at 10:30am - 12:30pm
This is happening because they have moved the dates for deadline to individual registration (as opposed to the household system which operated before), it will also mean that many people in rented accommodation further find it difficult to open bank accounts and could face a fine of £80.
Brighton, Hove and District Labour Party and other progressive groups and parties are therefore desperately trying to make sure that we get the voter registration back. this is 15,000 people that we need to return to the register in the District or we could find that the boundaries are redrawn to make two safe seats for the conservatives in future elections.
