Labour response to council housing announcement

10628594_10152679583231743_888267458058395387_n.jpgIn response to Brighton and Hove City Council’s announcement on the delivery of new affordable homes, Councillor Warren Morgan, Leader of the Labour and Co-operative group, said:

The Green Party record on housing is pitiful. They promised to build a thousand homes during their time in office, but now have to include the two years before they were elected to reach even half their intended total.
Labour is committed to delivering 500 new council homes over the next four years, alongside hundreds of other new homes with 40% of them affordable.
No amount of Green spin can hide the fact that the Greens have failed on housing, as with so much else.
