Kate Green MP, Shadow Minister for Disabled People, and Nancy Platts, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven are hosting an event designed to bring together disabled people with those who make decisions that affect their day-to-day lives and their ability to live independently.
Speakers include disabled people and representatives from The Fed Centre for Independent Living, local transport providers, employers and the GMB.

If you are a disabled person, what services or facilities would help make your life better? The main topics for discussion will include; barriers to employment, accessing public transport; the impact of the changes to welfare benefits and access to information and advice.
