Councillor Tracey Hill
I am a Hollingdean resident and, as well as being involved with activities at the Hollingdean Community Centre, I help to run the twice-yearly Lucky Dip market in the area. As an active campaigner with the Labour Party I organised a successful campaign to save local bus services from cuts. I am a member of the Co-operative Party and an executive member of Sera, Labour’s environmental group.
Councillor Michael Inkpin-Leissner
Born in Germany, I have lived in Coldean since 2006. I come from a traditional working class family and have been active in local politics from the age of 16, when I joined the German Social Democrats. I work as a Cabin Manager for an airline where I have been a Unite shop steward. I am Labour from the heart because I feel social responsibility towards my neighbours and fellow citizens.
Councillor Caroline Penn
I am proud of my Brighton roots. My Moulsecoomb-born grandmother raised my mum in Whitehawk during World War 2. I am standing as a Labour candidate because I want to help tackle the pressing issues of the city – housing, child poverty and a low wage economy. When out campaigning I'm often accompanied by my dog, Meg. As well as being a member of the Labour Party, I am Chair of Brighton and Hove Co-operative Party.
