The way in which people register to vote has recently changed. You must fill out the online form with your national insurance number or another form of ID. IT takes about 3 minutes and can be done on the goverment website: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

Voting by post
Voting by post is easy and means even if you're away from home or busy on election day you can still have your say. For more details on how to apply to vote by post visit the goverment website to download the form: www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-a-postal-vote.

It should then be sent to Brighton and Hove City Council, Electoral Services Office, Brighton Town Hall, BN1 1JA or Lewes District Council (if you live in Peacehaven and Telscombe Towns): Electoral Services, Southover House, BN7 1AB
